Disney Destinations Temporary Closures in Response to COVID-19

In an abundance of caution Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line are proceeding with temporary closures in response to the corona-virus COVID-19. Below we will list the details for each perspective Disney Destination. It's important to note that the Walt Disney Company is committed to being part of the solution in terms of our response to this virus and with that they will be paying all cast members during this closure period.


Walt Disney World

Starting March 16th to March 31st the Walt Disney World Parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach) will be closed. Disney resorts and Disney Springs will remain open.


March 31st is the plan for now for reopening and is subject to change based on recommendations from the appropriate officials and health experts Disney is in communication with.


Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line has decided to suspend all new departures beginning Saturday, March 14, 2020, through the end of the month. This precautionary measure applies to all four of Disney’s cruise ships.


Below is a list of impacted sailings:  Disney Magic March 14-19 March 19-23 March 23-28 March 28-April 2 Disney Wonder March 20-25 March 25-29 March 29-April 5 Disney Dream March 16-20 March 20-23 March 23-27 March 27-30 March 30- April 3 Disney Fantasy March 14-21 March 21-29 March 29-April 4


Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA)

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, beginning the morning of March 14 through the end of the month. The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will remain open until Monday, March 16. Downtown Disney will remain open.


End of March is the plan for now for reopening and is subject to change based on recommendations from the appropriate officials and health experts Disney is in communication with.
